Home Server Dashboard

A phone-first control surface for a home server.

An installable phone app that pulls eight self-hosted services into one interface: what is running, what is failing, storage headroom, and push notifications when something needs attention.

Built because managing a home server from a phone meant eight admin panels, none of which were designed for a small screen. This is one screen, designed for a thumb.

The push and offline behavior is where the real work went. Getting an installed web app to behave like a native one on iOS is mostly a list of undocumented constraints you discover by hitting them.
